I think our class name should be Karearea. It is our New Zealand Falcon My Mum didn't even know that we had a Falcon in New Zealand, and they are endangered.
The New Zealand Falcon or Karearea is our only endemic falcon, and is one of 3 birds of prey native to New Zealand-the other being the Australasian harrier hawk and the morepork owl. The World Conservation Union classifies the falcon as a near-threatened species. It is threatened by the loss of its natural habitat which started with the arrival of first the Maori, rats and stoats.
It is known to be an extremely fearless bird P.s we couldn't get the picture to come up.
